Earl Geho has joined the Health Career Professionals’ team following a 25 year career in the Managed Healthcare Industry. He began his career in sales and sales management of HMO, PPO and POS group benefit plans to all size employer groups with a concentration on groups with 500+ employees and national accounts. He then transitioned into the provider network development, network management and provider relations side of the business; recruiting and contracting with all types of healthcare providers throughout a seven state area in the Southeast. Most recently, he has developed provider networks for a Medicare and Medicaid HMO in Georgia and Florida. Earl has obtained his extensive experience with such organizations as United Health Plan, Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Kentucky, Travelers Health Network, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee, One Health Plan of Georgia, and WellCare of Georgia.
Earl currently resides in the Atlanta area. He was born and raised in Washington, PA, and became a “southern boy” in 1985 when he moved below the Mason-Dixon line to Louisville, KY. He has two grown children, ages 28 and 26, and in his spare time, enjoys golf, working in the yard and going to the beach. He also collects American Indian tomahawks.
Earl is a graduate of Fairmont State College in Fairmont, WVA, with a B.S. degree in Business Administration. He is an avid University of Tennessee sports fan, but routes for the Georgia “Bulldogs” when they aren’t playing the “Vols.”
